Write for the room
A shared reference often lands harder than a perfectly constructed generic joke.
Write the funniest answer to a ridiculous prompt, then let the room decide which joke deserves the points.
Create a private room and invite friends in seconds.
Write the funniest answer. Win the room.
About the game
Punchline is an online comedy party game built for quick wit rather than perfect writing. Every player answers the same prompt in secret. The responses then face off in anonymous duels, so a joke wins on its own rather than on the popularity of its author.
Players outside each duel vote for the answer that made them laugh more. Winning earns points, while sweeping every eligible vote lands a knockout bonus. Authors are revealed after the vote, creating exactly the kind of accusations and callbacks a good game night needs.

A shared reference often lands harder than a perfectly constructed generic joke.
Short answers are easier to read during a duel and leave less room for the joke to wander.
Specific, confident absurdity usually beats an answer that explains why it is funny.
Punchline supports 3โ10 players. Four or more gives every duel a healthy audience of voters.
They remain anonymous while the room votes. The writers are revealed after each duel.
No. Punchline runs in a modern web browser on phones, tablets and computers.
